Arrive 5 Minutes Early
Be at your designated stop at least five minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Buses run on a fixed schedule and cannot wait — a missed bus is the student's responsibility, not the driver's.
Punctuality
Safe, Reliable School Bus Service
Universal School offers optional bus transportation for students residing in designated areas. Our bus service provides safe, supervised transport to and from school — so every journey is as smooth and secure as the education that awaits.
Every element of our transportation service is designed around the wellbeing of your child — from vehicle standards to staff training.
Signing up for the bus service takes minutes. From that point, we handle everything — routes, scheduling, and daily supervision.
Our transportation package is comprehensive — no hidden extras, no separate charges. From the moment your child steps on the bus to the moment they arrive home, every detail is covered.
Our network of bus routes covers the primary residential areas across Greater Beirut and Mount Lebanon, designed to reach as many families as possible from Aramoun.
A child's school day begins the moment they step outside their front door. That is why we treat every bus journey with the same care, intention, and sense of responsibility that we bring to every classroom at Universal School.

Our bus network spans Greater Beirut and Mount Lebanon, with three dedicated service zones designed to minimise travel time while reaching every key neighbourhood on the way to Aramoun.
Serves the northern suburban belt through Bourj Hammoud and the Matn coastline — four dedicated routes with early morning pickup windows to ensure on-time arrivals.
Central Beirut and the eastern Metn district — covering the densest student residential areas with three high-frequency routes timed around the morning rush.
The southern and Shouf mountain corridor — closest geographically to Aramoun campus, with the shortest overall journey times and scenic mountain routes.
Tap any zone filter to explore the specific areas served by our three routes — all converging at Universal School, Aramoun.
Full route maps with GPS waypoints, exact stop locations, and minute-by-minute timetables are provided to every enrolled family at the start of the academic year — and updated whenever adjustments are made.
Every Universal School route is engineered by our transport coordinator to balance three priorities: minimising total journey time, maximising geographic coverage, and ensuring student safety at every boarding point.
If your neighbourhood is not currently served by one of our three zones, contact our Transportation Coordinator directly. Routes are reviewed each term and may be adjusted or extended based on demand — particularly when multiple families from the same area make a request. No family should miss out on safe, supervised transport because of a gap in current coverage.
No route is ever set in stone. Our transport network exists to serve our families — and if a family is not served, we see that as a problem worth solving, not a limitation to accept.
— Universal School Transportation Coordinator, Aramoun Campus
Every journey — morning and afternoon — follows a structured, supervised routine so parents can trust the process and students feel safe and settled from the first stop to the last.
Parent notification: SMS alert sent when bus departs first stop and again 5 minutes from your child's boarding point.
Drop-off alert: Parents receive an SMS when the bus is 5 minutes from your stop — giving you time to step outside.
A full day in the life of a Universal School bus student — every moment structured, supervised, and safe.
Safe transport is a shared responsibility between the school, families, and students. Understanding each role keeps every journey smooth and every child safe.
The monitor is the primary responsible adult on each bus — from the moment students board to the moment they are handed to a guardian.
Parents are partners in safe transport — your punctuality, presence, and communication directly protect your child and every other student on the route.
Bus conduct is an extension of the school's behaviour policy — respect, safety, and responsibility apply from the moment the bus door opens.
For students in KG1 through Grade 4, a parent or pre-authorised guardian must be visibly present at the designated stop before the bus monitor will release the child. If no adult is present, the child is retained on the bus, returned to school, and the family is contacted immediately. This policy is non-negotiable and exists entirely for your child's protection.

The routine of a safe journey — the same stop, the same face, the same reassuring wave — is part of what makes a child feel that school is a place worth going to. We take that first and last impression seriously.

Register for our bus service today. Our transport coordinator will confirm your child's nearest route, provide a personalised schedule, and ensure a smooth start from day one.
Precise timings, structured runs, and a delayed bus option for after-school activities — every departure planned so your child is never left waiting.
From first pickup to last drop-off — every block of time accounted for.
Our schedule is built around the school bell — not the other way around. Every departure is timed precisely to get students there on time and home safely.
The times shown throughout this page represent overall route windows. Your child's exact morning pickup time and afternoon drop-off time depend entirely on which stop they are assigned to within their route zone. These precise times are provided only after bus enrolment is confirmed — because they vary by location, distance, and route sequencing.
A schedule only works when everyone trusts it. We publish timings, honour them, and communicate every change — because punctuality is not just a convenience, it is a commitment we make to every family, every single day.
— Universal School Transportation Coordinator, Aramoun Campus
Every vehicle, every driver, every route — held to the highest standard of safety so that parents can let go of the door handle knowing their child is in good hands.
All Universal School buses meet Lebanese Ministry of Transport safety regulations with annual certification, regular inspections, and trained staff on every journey.
Certified Safe RoutesFrom the driver's seat to the last stop, multiple layers of safety features work together to protect every student on every journey — morning, afternoon, and activity runs alike.
Every bus driver at Universal School holds a valid commercial transport licence and undergoes annual background checks, driving record reviews, and school-specific training before operating any student route. Experience on our routes is mandatory — no new driver operates unsupervised.
All Universal School buses are fitted with GPS tracking units that transmit real-time location data throughout every journey. Parents access live tracking via the school parent portal.
Our fleet undergoes scheduled preventive maintenance monthly and full safety inspections at least twice per academic year — with no bus permitted to operate if flagged during a check.
Where vehicles are equipped with seat belts, use is mandatory for all students. The bus monitor ensures all students are properly belted before departure from every stop.
Every bus carries mandated emergency equipment and both the driver and monitor are trained in emergency evacuation procedures, basic first aid, and incident reporting protocols.
Supervision is not passive — it is active, structured, and consistent from the first boarding call to the final drop-off confirmation, every school day.
Each bus is staffed with a trained, school-vetted monitor who is the primary responsible adult for students throughout the journey. Monitors are especially important for younger students and early years, providing a reassuring, familiar presence each day.
A formal roll call is conducted against the daily manifest before the bus departs school in the afternoon, and again verified upon arrival at school in the morning. Every student is accounted for — there are no exceptions.
If a student who is registered for the bus does not board their assigned stop, the monitor immediately contacts the school office. The office then cross-references attendance records and contacts the family if the absence is unexplained.
A clear escalation protocol governs every non-routine situation on the bus — from a missed stop to a medical concern. Parents are always notified promptly, and the school's duty coordinator is reachable throughout operating hours.
Bus monitor identifies and documents the issue on board in real time
Transport coordinator is informed immediately via direct line
Family receives SMS and call within minutes of any escalation
Issue resolved, outcome documented, and management review triggered
We hope to never need our emergency procedures — but every driver and monitor is trained to act calmly and correctly if the need ever arises.
Every Universal School bus carries the following mandatory equipment, inspected at the start of each term.
Safety is not a checklist — it is a culture. Every person involved in our transport service, from the driver to the school coordinator, shares one non-negotiable responsibility: every child goes home the same way they arrived — safe and sound.
— Universal School Transportation & Safety Team, Aramoun Campus
Our transport team welcomes any questions about safety procedures, driver qualifications, or how we handle specific situations. Get in touch — transparency is part of our commitment to you.
The bus is an extension of the school environment. Every student, family, and driver shares responsibility for keeping each journey safe, respectful, and orderly — from first pickup to final drop-off.
Universal School's transportation code is built on a simple principle: the bus is a community space. Every student who rides contributes to the atmosphere experienced by all others. Clear expectations protect that community — and consequences exist not to punish, but to preserve it.
These five responsibilities apply every single day — at the stop, on the bus, and during every interaction with drivers, monitors, and fellow passengers. They are not suggestions; they are the conditions of bus access.
Be at your designated stop at least five minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Buses run on a fixed schedule and cannot wait — a missed bus is the student's responsibility, not the driver's.
PunctualityStay in your assigned seat with your seatbelt fastened for the entire journey. Standing, crouching in the aisle, or moving between seats while the bus is in motion is strictly prohibited.
SafetySpeak kindly to all passengers and staff. Offensive, threatening, or discriminatory language will not be tolerated. The same behavioural standards applied inside school apply on the bus.
Core ExpectationComply immediately and respectfully with all reasonable instructions from the bus driver and monitor. These staff members have full authority to manage behaviour during transit.
Authority & ComplianceNo food, drink, or litter inside the bus unless specifically permitted. Any intentional damage to school property will be reported, and the cost of repair may be charged to the student's family.
Property CareResponsibility begins the moment a student leaves home for their stop and ends when they are safely dropped off. Conduct at the stop itself falls under the same code — including behaviour while waiting.
Our approach is progressive and proportional. Minor incidents are handled swiftly and internally. Repeated or serious violations escalate through a structured five-step process designed to protect all students and maintain a safe environment.
The driver or monitor addresses the student directly and calmly. The nature of the issue is explained and the student is given a clear opportunity to correct their behaviour. Recorded internally but no formal communication sent home.
A formal written or telephone notification is issued to the student's parent or guardian outlining the specific incident, the expectation that was not met, and what is required going forward. A copy is filed with the transport coordinator.
The student is relocated to a specific assigned seat — typically near the front of the bus, adjacent to the monitor. This restriction remains in place until the transport coordinator determines the student's behaviour has improved sufficiently.
The student is suspended from bus service for a defined period — typically one to five school days depending on the severity of the incident. The family is responsible for arranging alternative transportation during this period. A meeting with the transport coordinator may be required before reinstatement.
Applied in cases of serious violations — including physical aggression, threats, vandalism, or repeated failure to comply after earlier consequences. The student's bus privilege is permanently revoked for the academic year. This decision is made by school administration in consultation with the transport coordinator. No refund of transport fees applies.
Any act that directly endangers passengers — such as throwing objects, physically assaulting another student, or interfering with the driver — bypasses early steps entirely and proceeds directly to Step 4 or Step 5 at the administration's discretion.
At every stage from Step 2 onwards, parents or guardians are formally notified before the consequence takes effect where possible. We believe transparent communication with families is central to resolving conduct issues effectively.
Rules on the bus are not about control — they are about care. When every student honours these expectations, every student benefits: a quieter ride, a safer journey, and a community where no one dreads boarding in the morning.
— Universal School Administration, Aramoun Campus
If you have questions about this policy, wish to discuss a specific incident, or want to understand how a consequence was applied, please contact the Transportation Coordinator directly. We handle every concern with transparency and respect.
Getting your child onto a Universal School bus is a straightforward four-step process. Fees are simple, transparent, and integrated into the existing tuition payment schedule — no surprise charges, ever.
Bus enrollment at Universal School is handled through the school's admissions and finance offices. The process covers four stages: declaring your need, confirming your address for route assignment, completing the required agreement and emergency documentation, and settling the transport fee through the standard tuition cycle. There are no hidden charges and no complex applications — just four clear steps.
Enrollment opens at the start of each academic year and during the admissions window. You can also enroll mid-year — subject to space on your assigned route. Contact the transport office to confirm availability.
When completing your annual enrollment or re-enrollment documentation, look for the transportation section and select the bus service option. This triggers the route assignment process and notifies the transport coordinator that your child requires a bus place for the upcoming academic year.
Your residential address is the key piece of information that allows the transport coordinator to assign your child to the correct zone, route, and boarding stop. The closer the stop is to your home, the more convenient the service — so accuracy matters.
Before your child boards for the first time, two documents must be completed and signed: the Bus Conduct Agreement, acknowledging the school's behaviour expectations, and the Emergency Information Form, providing up-to-date contact details and any relevant medical information.
Transport fees are incorporated into the school's standard tuition payment schedule — there is no separate billing system or payment portal for bus services. You pay per semester or upfront for the full academic year when a discount applies. Sibling discounts are applied automatically upon verification.
All fees are confirmed at enrollment and reflected on your tuition invoice before any payment is due. Exact amounts are provided by the finance office based on current academic year rates.
All fee structures include the full Universal School transport experience. The difference between plans is only the payment timing — not the quality of service.
The most common questions families ask when enrolling in bus service — answered clearly and concisely.
We believe that access to reliable, safe school transport should be as straightforward as possible for every family. Our enrollment process is designed to take minutes — not weeks — and our pricing is disclosed fully before any commitment is made.
— Universal School Finance & Admissions Office, Aramoun Campus
Contact the admissions or transport office to begin your enrollment. Our team will guide you through all four steps, confirm your route and stop, and have your child's schedule ready within three school days.
Route changes, emergency protocols, delay notifications, and bus service policies — everything families need to know to stay informed and in sync with Universal School's transportation team.
All changes to your child's bus arrangements must be submitted in advance. The notice period required depends on the type of change — temporary adjustments, permanent route changes, and cancellations each have different procedures.
Routes are reviewed and may be adjusted at three key points in the academic year. Families are always notified in advance when any change affects their child's stop or timing.
No route change takes effect without prior communication. The school uses a layered notification approach to ensure every family receives the update through at least one channel before the change goes live.
Whether it is a road emergency or a weather delay, Universal School's transport team has a defined response protocol. Every driver and monitor is trained to act swiftly and communicate clearly — keeping students safe and families informed.
The transportation coordinator is your central point of contact for all bus-related matters. Whether it is a question about your route, a concern about behaviour, or a request to change your child's stop — one person handles it all.
Our transportation coordinator manages all bus routes, handles enrollment and changes, investigates conduct concerns, and coordinates with drivers and monitors daily. For any transport-related matter, this is your first — and often only — call.
These four policies govern day-to-day bus service operations. They exist to keep routes running smoothly, protect students, and ensure no family is left without information when conditions change.
Regular bus riders are expected to use the service consistently. Frequent ad-hoc changes — skipping the bus some days, using a different stop without notice — disrupt route timing and affect other students on the same run.
If your child is ill or will not be taking the bus on a given day, inform the school before the bus departs for the morning run. This allows the driver to be notified and prevents unnecessary waiting at your stop.
If your bus does not arrive within the expected window, do not assume it has been cancelled. Contact the transportation coordinator directly to confirm status before making alternative arrangements.
Bus service operates in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather that makes travel unsafe or impractical, service may be delayed or cancelled — with families notified through all available channels as early as possible.
Good communication is the backbone of good transport. Our commitment is simple: no parent should ever be left wondering where their child is or what is happening. When things go exactly as planned, we stay quiet. When anything changes, we tell you first.
— Universal School Transportation Coordinator, Aramoun Campus
The transport coordinator is available throughout school operating hours for any route, schedule, or conduct-related matter. All written requests are acknowledged within one school day.
