Every teacher at Universal School meets rigorous qualification standards — and those delivering the OSSD Canadian pathway hold additional Ontario certification and Rosedale authorisation.

Core Qualifications

Applicable to every member of the teaching faculty
  • University degrees in their subject areas
  • Teaching credentials and certifications
  • Lebanese Ministry of Education approval
  • Ongoing professional development — minimum 20 hours annually
All teachers undergo annual performance reviews and participate in collaborative professional learning communities throughout the academic year.
OSSD Teachers — Additionally

Canadian Pathway Certification

Canadian Gateway teachers hold extended authorisation
  • Ontario Teacher Certification (OCT)
  • Rosedale International Education training and authorisation
  • Specialised in Ontario curriculum delivery and expectations
  • Regular quality monitoring, oversight and ongoing support from Rosedale
OSSD course delivery is monitored by Rosedale International Education, ensuring our students receive credits that are recognised by Ontario universities and accepted globally.
