Concerns & Conduct

Raising Concerns & Our Shared Standards

We take every concern seriously and have a clear process for addressing them. We also ask all parents to uphold the standards that make Universal School a safe and respectful community for everyone.

If You Have a Concern

Follow the chain — resolution at each level
1
Contact the Teacher Directly For classroom or academic concerns — the teacher is always the first point of contact. Most issues resolve here.
2
Grade Coordinator or Counsellor If unresolved after speaking with the teacher, escalate to the grade-level coordinator or school counsellor.
3
Contact Administration (Principal) For matters that remain unresolved at the coordinator level, contact the Principal directly by email or appointment.
4
Formal Grievance Process If the matter is still unresolved, a formal written grievance may be submitted. Details are available from the main office.
Best practice: Address concerns early, assume positive intent, communicate respectfully, focus on solutions, and document all communications.

Parent Code of Conduct

Standards we ask all parents to uphold
Treat all staff, students, and other parents with dignity and respect
Raise concerns through proper channels — not through social media or public confrontation
Support school policies and decisions, or address concerns appropriately
Model positive, respectful behaviour — your children are watching
Avoid confrontations on school campus at all times
Respect the confidentiality of other students and their families
Support positive sportsmanship at all school events and competitions
Assume positive intent from teachers and staff
Focus conversations on solutions — not blame
Keep records of all key communications in writing

Main Office Universal School — Aramoun

When school and home speak the same language — when parents and teachers trust each other and work together — students do not just succeed academically. They grow into confident, grounded, and capable people. That partnership is not optional. It is the foundation of everything we do.
